Sky Farm and the Five Tools
The Sky Farm is the cloud garden where Petit Games live. The five tools - watering can, shovel, fishing rod, fruit basket and bug net - each carry an ability gauge, and the farm is where you raise them without a turn order.
Sky Farm is the garden above the clouds, and it is where the five tools stop being inventory decoration. The farm runs on Petit Games and on tool ability, and it is the calmest way to raise both.
The five tools
Open the Game Pad with the top button and the inventory lists them left to right:
| Slot | Tool | Gauge |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Watering Can | Ability level, bottom right of the screen |
| 2 | Shovel | Same gauge, per tool |
| 3 | Fishing Rod | Same gauge, per tool |
| 4 | Fruit Basket | Same gauge, per tool |
| 5 | Bug Net | Same gauge, per tool |
The gauge shows that tool's current ability level and fills as the level rises. It is per tool, not one global stat, so a high-level rod says nothing about your net.

What the farm gives you
Three things, in order of usefulness:
- Petit Games. The farm is described as a place for a variety of Petit Games, and Petit Games are the solo games played on the Game Pad while other players keep moving.
- Growing and fishing. The tour material for the game puts it plainly: a relaxed life growing vegetables and fishing. Both feed the tool gauges.
- A quiet place to practise. No turn order, no delivery quota, no board.
Petit Games and the turn-skip rule
Petit Games are worth understanding before you settle in, because the rule that punishes them applies everywhere:
If a Petit Game is not finished by the player's next turn, that turn is skipped.
On the farm there is no turn order, so the rule does not bite. On a board, starting a long Petit Game at the end of a day is how turns disappear. Farm practice is how you learn which Petit Games you can clear quickly — which is exactly the skill the board wants.
Where Sky Farm sits in the town
Sky Farm is one of the six Hometown facilities, and the usable set grows with progress. It is a separate building from the Game Park, so the mini-games there are not the 45+ mini-game list; they are the smaller Petit Game set.
If you are hunting the mini-games proper, those live at the Minigame Corner inside the Game Park.
A sensible farm session
- Check the gauges first. Open the inventory and look at the bottom-right gauge for each tool; the lowest one is the one to use.
- Play the Petit Games the farm offers. Clear them, note which ones finish fast, and remember those for board runs.
- Use the tools in the world, not just the farm. The gauge rises with use, and the farm is the low-pressure place to experiment.
- Take Labo Puzzle tools when offered. The Creative Labo's puzzle machine is the only direct source of tools in town.
Tools and the rest of the game
Tool ability is not required for any board, any mini-game or the delivery quotas. It is a side progression that pays in access: the higher the gauge, the more the farm gives back.
That means the honest advice is to treat Sky Farm as the thing you do when you have twenty minutes and do not want to start a board — the same slot in your evening that Labo Puzzle fills, with less clicking.
The town layout is on hometown map; the tool inventory and the three Game Pad menus are covered there too.
