Editions and Price
Standard Edition is the $49.99 digital copy. Day 1 adds a coloring book and sticker pack, Premium adds hologram cards and a plush keychain, and both collector editions are physical only. The 80-T-shirt bonus is a separate code.
Hello Kitty Party Land ships as one game in three packages, and only one of them is what most people should buy. Prices below are the US store figures as listed at launch.
The three editions
| Edition | Contents | Format | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | Base game | Digital and physical | $49.99 digital (US eShop) |
| Day 1 Edition | Base game, coloring book, sticker pack | Physical only | Retail price varies by store |
| Premium Edition | Base game, sticker pack, coloring book, hologram cards, plush keychain | Physical only | Retail price varies by store |
The critical line is the format column: the two collector editions are physical only. If you buy digital, the Standard Edition is the only option — there is no digital Day 1 or Premium bundle.
What the extras actually are
| Extra | In which edition | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Coloring book | Day 1, Premium | Physical book |
| Sticker pack | Day 1, Premium | Physical stickers |
| Hologram cards | Premium only | Ten cards, one per Sanrio character |
| Plush keychain | Premium only | Hello Kitty plush with a sequined bow |
None of these are in-game items. They are box contents, which matters if you were expecting the hologram cards to unlock something — they do not.
The one in-game bonus
Separately from the editions, there is an early purchase bonus: 80 character T-shirt designs for your avatar, redeemed with a download code in the Nintendo eShop. The Character T-Shirt is also the only garment that can hold stickers, which makes it the one bonus with a gameplay use.
If you are buying near launch, check whether the retailer still has the bonus — it is described as an early purchase bonus, not a permanent pack-in.
Which one to buy
- Playing digitally, or not sure yet: Standard Edition at $49.99. Everything gameplay-related is in the base game.
- Want the physical box for a child: Day 1 Edition — base game plus a coloring book and stickers, which is the version that makes sense as a gift.
- Collecting Sanrio merchandise: Premium Edition. The hologram cards and the plush keychain are the only things you cannot get otherwise.
What none of them change: the boards, the 45+ mini-games, the 145+ characters, the partner system or the Creative Labo. Those are in every copy.
Price and platform notes
- The $49.99 figure is the US eShop price for the digital Standard Edition at launch.
- The game is a Nintendo Switch title that also runs on Switch 2; there is no separate next-gen purchase. Details on Switch vs Switch 2.
- Physical editions are region-specific, so a European box may not match the US listing above.
